It's time for another update on our coop progress. Here is where we are with the numbers since we started.
PPC
PPC 1335 clicks, 208 optin's to main list, 215 leads
I have not been happy with this conversion rate and have been busy tweaking things over the week. This first week our lead conversion costs have been running around the $5 mark which is within normal paremters but I want more bang for our buck! I made some further adjustments and this is yesterday's stats
PPC 213 clicks, 47 optin's to main list, 43 leads
Much better and with a lead conversion cost of $2 I am much happier and will continue to test this through the week (even during the convention!).
Mike G Ad
This is still in the queue to start so no update as yet.
Get Response
Only 20 of the 2000 have come through so far but this is normal for GR power leads. These will give us a steady stream of traffic though the month.
Articles and Blog
We have our first 7 articles posted on the directories and our blog. Over time this will create free traffic for our coop so I will just continue to keep up the daily progress here. Now we have some content on the main blog I will start including a link to this in my relationship emails.
Next Steps
I plan to have another solo ad placed this week. Now I have tweaked PPC we will start to use another system similar to this. As all these ads start to kick in you will see an upsurge in leads so make sure you follow up effectively!
If we have any shortfall in funds to pay for these ads I will put my own money in to make up the short fall. As it stands I have put $150 (10% of the coop fund) of my money to one side to off set the initial conversion rates of PPC.

Ad Coop Progress Update 1
I just thought I would give an update on how things are progressing with the Co-op. You will all have started to notice the leads have started to filter through. It is deliberately slow at the moment as I wanted to ensure everything is working.
I want to just start with what you should do with these leads. The key thing to remember here is all of these leads are double opt in, that is we have made them submit their contact details twice before they can even view your website. Have a think about that for a second, they must be pretty determined to see what you have to offer. I strongly suggest you get on the phone and speak to them and explain you have seen they have visited your website and you would like to know what they thought.
You will find most of them are amazed that a real person has contacted them about visiting your website and you should be able to take things from their. Any concerns around this I suggest you speak to your upline sponsor.
If you cant get through I suggest adding them to your autoresponder (if you have a separate one) or sending a personal email thanking them for visiting your website and if they have any questions to contact you.
Advertising Progress
We have 2 Google Pay Per Click campaigns on the go and this is bringing in a steady stream of traffic. At this point I am not overly happy on some of the key words as they are generating a lot of clicks but not enough conversions so I am currently pruning these to bring our cost per lead down. We have had 65 leads from this since Saturday.
I have purchased a 2000 Power Lead campaign from Get Response. This is a tried and tested method of lead generation that is used by all the major Internet Marketers. This will give us a steady stream of traffic throughout the month and I have found the lead to sign up ratio very good in all the time I have used it.
We have an ad order placed with Mike Glaspie. This is a 50 word ad that will go out to Mikes list of 400,000 people. It will also appear as an exit pop on 4 of his most popular websites for a week. We will also get a link from his sites to our lead capture page which will potentially drive some traffic our way. And finally we will get a section in one of his weekly ezine updates to his 800,000 list. From my experience this always brings a lot of traffic so I will update when it is nearer the run date.
In addition to this I am sending 2 relationship building emails to the ever growing list which includes some gentle prodding to look at your website. I am also submitting a new article each day to the article directories so again over time this will create some free leads as the viral effect takes place. These articles also get placed on a blog I have set up for our coop leads as well!
If you would like to see how the process works for your leads your welcome to add yourself to the initial lead capture page and you will get the emails I send out each day. I would just ask that you don’t fill in the second lead capture page as this will be someone’s SU page and they will be likely to phone you!! You can also have a look at the blog but it is still very new at the moment.
